Horse & Rider Sessions
When I was a little girl I absolutely loved getting photos taken with the lesson horses I rode. I would drag my parents to the barn with a camera wanting them to get as many photos of us together as possible. I am forever grateful for it and appreciate how hard they tried to make them the best they could be. As I grew older, I realized not many professionals were servicing the equine industry to capture images of riders with their horses. What began as just taking pictures of barn mates for gas money to head up to the barn, soon turned into my dream job for life. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else with my time than meeting new people, new horses and getting to capture the bond they share. I for one know just how special getting these photographs are. I thankfully booked my own session with my show mount who unfortunately passed away 2 years later. I am eternally grateful to have those memories to look back on. Each image takes me back to that day and helps me remember how he stole the carrots right out of my back pocket and how my dog Kiara gave him the biggest kiss on the nose. To this day they are the most cherished images I have!
